The official "KOMUGI the Chihuahua" website ("this site") runs very simple access analytics to help us improve the site. This page explains what we collect and how you can opt out.
About our access analytics
This site uses cookies to recognize visitors. The only purposes are to know "whether you've visited before" and "where you came from to reach this site." Cookies are stored for at most 400 days, after which they automatically expire.
The information we collect is as follows:
- Pages visited
- Clicks on outbound links (YouTube, Instagram, and the merch shop page)
- Fan icon downloads
- Approximate region (roughly at the prefecture/state level)
- Screen width
- Time spent on the site
- Errors that occur (to help us notice bugs on the site)
We do not store IP addresses. All collected data is processed only within an AWS account managed by this site's operator — we do not use any external analytics service such as Google Analytics. We never share collected data with third parties, and we never collect personally identifying information such as your name or email address.
Turning analytics off or back on
If you'd prefer not to be included in our analytics, you can turn it off with the button below. Once turned off, no information will be sent from this browser. You can always switch it back on with the "Turn back on" button.
